Amongst a surge of talented young Otago surfers, 13-year-old Keo Morrison thrives on chasing big waves and surfing new spots. Here’s his entry to the C-Skins Quick Cuts …
“I love surfing and hanging with my friends here in Dunedin,” he explains.
“I live close to the beach and spend most of my days in the water – I am very lucky to live in Dunedin and to have a bunch of mates around my age to surf with.”
“My boards are made by local shaper, Graham Carse, of Quarry Beach Surfboards, and the latest one he made for me has been an absolute weapon.”
“I love to surf down in the Catlins and I’m learning to spearfish (haven’t shot a fish yet, though). Surfing for me is about adventure, family and mates.”
“I hope you like my edit … hit play.”
