Andy and Bruce Irons. Christian and Nathan Fletcher. Griffin and Crosby Colapinto. These are just a few examples of brother power couples in the surfing world. While Tao and Zen Mouldey are quite a bit younger than these aforementioned brother pairings these two siblings from Mount Maunganui are sure able to pack a punch. With Tao being one of New Zealand’s most promising young talents, and Zen not too far behind, nipping at his heels, these are two brothers you should keep your eyes on.

During the 2023 South Island Champs, which were held this past weekend, I was able to catch up with the two of them right after they had finished having their second-ever heat together.
